We are Kira & Steve and this is our journey!

 

We are homestead dreaming, meaning that we aspire to some day have many acres of our own to cultivate, but until then, we're making the most of the space we have! We are slowly but surely trying to become as self sufficient as we can be on our tiny 1/5th of an acre lot in Central Arkansas, zone 8a.

 

So grab a drink and I hope you enjoy the ride as we navigate the ins and outs of growing our own food, caring for our livestock, and stocking our shelves.
